Earlier this year, tragedy struck the famed Guatemalan coffee farm Finca Vista Hermosa (FVH) as the farm manager, Carlos Martin, and his son, Edwin, were robbed and murdered whilst returning to the farm with money and supplies.

Carlos leaves behind a widow, Juana, and 11 children.

Edwin Martinez of FVH was kind enough to send us a sample of his coffee early this year.  We have a small amount left over and will be offering it this Saturday as a brewed coffee for $10 a cup at First Pour.  All proceeds will go to Juana.
